What We Did for Harken
During an initial consultation, we learned that Harken needed a way for people to see them as they sped down the highway in front of their headquarters. One of the best ways to let consumers know where you are located and to give them plenty of time to stop and turn is to install a nice large monument sign. So, this is what we recommended for Harken. Once they approved the design, we got down to work.
For Harken’s monument sign, we used some popular materials. The sign is made out of durable high-density urethane (HDU) that is painted to match the client’s corporate colors. The “Harken” name is also made out of thick HDU, while the address is painted on.
Usually, when we get orders from clients outside of the Chicagoland area, we will ship the sign to one of our trusted partners located near the client and have them install the marker. But, for this job, we had no problem making the jaunt up to Wisconsin. We worked with Harken’s schedule to install the marker. There are aluminum poles coming out of the bottom of the sign. We dug holes for the poles then poured concrete to make sure the sign would stay put for many years to come. In the end, the client was completely satisfied with the work we did.
