What Is ARC Physical Therapy?
With eight convenient Chicagoland locations, Advanced Rehabilitation Clinics, Inc. (ARC) was founded by physical therapist Kevin M. Cronin in Elmhurst, IL in 1996. They were able to quickly expand and grow thanks to consistently providing exceptional service and quality care. They treat a broad range of conditions from sports injuries and fractures to work/industrial injuries and poor posture and much more.
When an organization that does so much to help area individuals prevent and recover from injuries came to us for channel letters in Elmhurst, IL, we were glad to be of assistance. ARC needed a way to make their Elmhurst location on North York Street stand out. Fortunately, they contacted the right sign shop for the job.
What We Did for ARC
Our first step was to meet with the client to get a good look at their storefront, take measurements, and to listen to what ARC had in mind for their project. After listening closely to their vision, we recommended a channel letter sign. And, once they approved of our design for the sign, we got down to work fabricating it.
Channel letter signs consist of aluminum “can” frames that are routed to match whatever font you need. In this case, we perfectly matched the typefaces ARC uses in their other marketing materials. We then added translucent white acrylic faces to the frame. White was ideal because it contrasts well with the brick façade of their building.
Each of the letters has LED illumination internally. The letters were then mounted on raceways. Raceways are a great idea if you want to minimize the amount of drilling into the exterior of your building. They also hold all of the electrical wiring. We then installed the new marker at a time that was convenient for ARC. In the end, they were completely satisfied with the job we did.
We Have Solutions for Your Organization
For ARC, we fabricated a standard front-lit channel letter sign. This is by far the most popular channel letter sign you will see lighting up commercial areas at night. However, there are many other variations on this theme. Reverse-lit (or halo-lit) channel letters have closed faces and open backs for the light to shine through. This creates an elegant halo effect on any wall the letters are mounted to. Back-lit channel letters have light shining through acrylic faces as well as out of the back. And, open-face channel letters have visually clear acrylic faces, so the lighting elements are visible.
