Parishioners visit Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church at 430 North West Avenue. Located in a densely populated area, the church’s committee wanted to ensure that visitors would have an easy time finding the venue. Beckoning the Faithful with a Post and Panel Sign
The church uses a blue color and white color palette on its website and print media. It made sense to match this hue. For the sign, we cut two posts to size and painted them in a darker blue tone. Next, our technicians sandblasted a sign foam blank to spell out the church’s name in three-dimensional letters.
The background features the look of wood. At this point, we painted the panel in a lighter blue, highlighted the lettering in a white color, and created a triple frame appearance in white, the panel’s color, and the dark blue of the posts. Technicians then installed the product in the landscape, where they angled it so it would be clearly visible to motorists and pedestrians.
A set of white finials finishes the design. Now, the sign is an integral aspect of the church’s presence in the community.
